Nick Erskine, Founder and Coach

Coach Nick has nearly 15 years' worth of basketball coaching experience, most of which has been at the high school level in Texas and California. He is passionate about teaching young players the fundamentals of the game, as well as the life lessons that can be learned through basketball. He is also a certificated teacher, which has included teaching at both the public school and homeschool levels.

Earnie Williams, Coach

Coach E., named the 2004-05 Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year, played for the University of Texas women’s basketball team from 2005-2010. After playing at UT, Coach E. played professional basketball in several countries. Her basketball coaching experience includes several years’ worth of private training, as well as coaching at the AAU level.

Joseph Jamie Johnson, Coach

Coach Joseph has played professional basketball in over 30 states, as well as Mexico and Australia. He currently plays for the Austin Bats. Coach Joseph has several years of coaching experience, and has taken 3 of his 4 most recent teams to national championship games.

Bobby Conley, Coach

Coach Bobby is a former starting guard for the Texas State University Bobcats. An Ohio native, Coach Bobby has been a lead coach for ATX Ballers for several lessons and skills clinics. He has a passion for helping young players develop their games, emphasizing the small details that set young athletes apart from the rest of their competitors.

Geoff Harner, Coach

Coach Geoff brings several years’ worth of overseas basketball playing experience, including Lithuania and China. He was a standout player for McCallum High in Austin, and has also coached youth basketball for over a decade.

Rick allard, Coach

Coach Rick, originally from Simi Valley, CA, brings over 20 years’ worth of coaching experience to ATX Ballers’ program. Rick’s playing experience includes a semi-pro league in the Los Angeles area. He coached varsity high school basketball for several years, and started his own AAU basketball team in the L.A area. Coach Rick truly enjoys coaching, saying the aspect he loves the most is “the mental aspect and reaching each player’s thought process so that they adopt a passion for what they are doing and relate it to life in general.”

Erin Williams, Coach

Coach Erin was a standout point guard for Rogers High School. She has several years’ worth of basketball coaching experience, including as a lead coach for numerous ATX Ballers basketball programs. Erin also ran track at Texas State University.

Jack Montagna, Coach

Coach Jack was an all-region basketball player at Port Aransas High School, and later played for Concordia University (Austin). He has coached at the AAU level in Austin for several years.

Taylor Adams, Coach

Coach Taylor played point guard for Pearland High School in the Greater Houston area and has experience coaching youth basketball. He currently does private trainings for kids in the North Austin region. Coach Taylor is passionate about sharing his skills and knowledge with the next generation.

Jasmine Lockwood, Coach

After playing competitive high school hoops in the basketball-rich state of Florida, Coach Jasmine played post for Peru State College (NAIA). Her specialty is footwork and helping players develop a post-up game. She has coached youth basketbal

Jazzmin Jackson, Coach

Coach Jazzmin was named to the All-State Tournament team while playing for Mansfield Summit High School (Arlington, Texas). She was a significant low-post presence and contributor for Concordia University (Austin). Jazzmin has a passion for helping players grow as both players and young people.

Danny Burton, Coach

Coach Danny played high school basketball in the basketball-rich state of Indiana. He has experience as a lead coach for previous ATX Ballers Basketball Camps, and is excited to continue coaching during the upcoming seasons because the kids' energy is "infectious and their minds are like sponges."

Kia love, coach

Coach Kia, a native of Webster, TX, played college basketball for Concordia University (Austin). Her 8+ years of coaching include AAU and high school teams in the North Austin metro area. Coach Kia loves coaching, stating “what I enjoy most about coaching is being able to help players grow into their fullest potential.”

Derek Kotrla, Coach

Coach Derek attended and played basketball at Liberty Hill High School (about 30 miles northwest of Austin). He went on to The University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with a degree in English and a minor in Kinesiology. He has worked several ATX Ballers skills camps and has a passion for teaching the game he loves.

Aimee Longoria, Coach

Coach Aimee, graduate of Wimberley High, was 1st Team All-District her senior season. Her post-high school experience includes playing for Austin’s semi-pro basketball team the Austin Storm. She has coached for 6+ years, leading both girls and boys teams at the middle and high school levels. According to Coach Aimee, “Being able to give back to the game and be a coach who players look up to is what I love the most about coaching.

Cody Jonsen, Coach

Coach Cody is a devoted coach with over twelve years of basketball coaching experience. He has experience as an athletic director, physical education teacher, classroom teacher, and camp director. He hopes to inspire students to be the best version of themselves, and to love being a part of a team.
